I live in California and yes we have land living history and battles but,the navy is totally ignored. When I was doing this I dressed up as a Union Petty officer and up at Roaring Camp in Felton talked to school children about life in the Union Navy. I displayed 1/48th scale models. Cairo,Monitor,Choctaw,and Arblmarle.# days,12/20 minute speeches. It was worth it. You RiverBlast I would love to see and dream to participate in.
